What is APA?
APA stands for the American Psychological Association.
- Here at Florida Hospital College we have selected to use APA style rules when writing a paper.
- There are many different publishing styles -- APA, MLA, Turabian, Chicago to name a few. These styles each have "rules" to follow when publishing an article or writing a college paper.
- The American Psychological Association uses the APA Style rules when publishing articles.
The library has many different resources -- in print and electronically that may assist you in better understanding the APA style. Many APA Internet links are on this Subject Guide.
